Vanuatu adventure

It is hard to believe that I have been back in Australia for a whole week!
I am constantly asked " did you have a good time, what was it like?" and have only been able to respond with " amazing, life changing, incredible" which leaves the listener none the wiser about my Vanuatu adventers. So I am going to attempt to recreate my travel journal online to share with you all.

My First overseas trip and not a touristy package deal that I had always imagined being stuck with. This would be Three weeks sailing the Vanuatu Islands with my best and dearest friends, Cathy, Gerry and Stephen who owns the yacht called Sincerity.

the two weeks were frantic as I didn't have a passport or any clothes suitable so it was a frenzie of paper work, and shopping, extreme budget shopping for summer clothes in Melbourne at the hight of winter, things were cheap but not much choice.
I managed to be organised and we made it to the airport with plenty of time and at 4.30am there were no ques!
once on the plane exshustion took over and we all slept and found the change over in Brisbane an interupptuon to some much need sleep.

We were meet at the Airport in Port Villa by Stephen and Jonas (a Ni-Vanuatu man who has been working on Stephens boat while in Port Vila)our bags were put in the rear of a ute and we climbed in on top of them. It felt wonderful wind in my hair, hot sun, freedom.... to be continued
