Port Havannah
giant sea turtles frequent this bay and the natives have set up a breeding program so we were able to hold one of these amazing creatures. We spotted a few large ones swimming around the boat.

Being a passionate gardener, the lush tropical growth was a source of constant pleasure and amazment.

During ww2 Port Havannah was taken over as an American Naval base. the remnets of this occupation are housed in the 'Naval base museum' and consisted of a colletion of glass coke bottles and spent bullet shells.
